Rainbow Lodge

The historic Rainbow Lodge is along the Yuba River near Donner Summit, close to cross country and alpine skiing, fishing, and hiking. They have recently added WiFi. The Rainbow Lodge is rented as a group destination for corporate or family retreat, wedding receptions, or other private events. The lodge has space for up to 120 guests. Their 27 guest rooms can accommodate up to 60 guests (65 guests if kids' rooms are used

Clair Tappaan Lodge

Clair Tappaan Lodge is owned by the Sierra Club, but is available to the public. Adult Sierra Club members receive a 10% discount from the prices shown below. Guests at the lodge are expected to pitch in with the chores, such as setting tables, washing dishes, cleaning. Guests supply their own bedding. There are no locked rooms, phones, televisions, or internet. Meals are served family-style in the dining hall.

Lost Trail Lodge

A back country lodge. In the winter, ski or snowshoe 4 miles from the parking lot to the lodge. In the summer hike, bike or drive. 4-wheel vehicles can park at the lodge, 2-wheel drive cars must park ½ mile from the lodge.
